A HOUSE builder is adding badger corridors and bat boxes in a bid to make its houses 60 per cent more efficient at reducing carbon emissions than other new builds.
The Church Farm development in Radley, which is being built by Pye Homes on land owned by Radley College, is set to have 240 energy efficient homes.

The developer is building electric vehicle charging points, protecting wildlife by installing badger corridors, bird and bat boxes and hedgehog homes. It is also adding a new cycle link between Radley and Oxford via Kennington to encourage "greener lifestyle choices."
Managing director Graham Flint said: “Every house will have the highest energy performance rating and will feature both solar panels and air-source heat pumps, which can be up to 350 per cent more efficient than fossil fuel boilers."
