An Oxfordshire MP has announced the winner of her annual Christmas card competition.

North Oxfordshire MP Victoria Prentis picked Bure Park Primary School pupil Isabelle's design as this year's winning card.

The winning design has been printed on the front of Ms Prentis' official Christmas card which has been sent to hundreds of people including her family, friends, and parliamentary colleagues.

The designs of the runners up (Lucy, Mollie-Mae, and Macie), also feature on the back of the card.

The competition is open every year to primary school-aged children in North Oxfordshire.

Congratulating Isabelle from Bicester, Ms Prentis said: “One of the highlights of the year is my Christmas Card competition. I always get excited receiving entries through the post and seeing the creativity of local children.”

“I would like to thank all of the children who took part this year and sent me their wonderful designs. It is always so hard to pick a winner!”

“I’m thrilled to announce that this year’s winner is Isabelle from Bure Park Primary School. Her creative and colourful design depicting a festive Houses of Parliament really caught my eye. I look forward to meeting her in the New Year to congratulate her in person.”

“A huge well done also to my Runner Ups, including Lucy, Mollie-Mae, and Macie who submitted some brilliant designs.”
