The Adderbury Christmas Tree Festival is back again after last year’s pause.
This year the Friends of St. Mary’s Adderbury (FOSMA) will be taking over the popular event after having been run successfully for many years by Clare Lester and Ray Robinson.
Visitors will be able to enjoy plenty of mulled wine, hot drinks, lovely cakes, and mince pies.
The church will be filled with music by local musicians and singers and of course creatively decorated Christmas trees, creating a wonderful seasonal atmosphere.
There will also be a competition for the best decorated Christmas tree which visitors will be able to vote for.
FOSMA said that entrance is free but asks for donations to help support the costs of keeping the fabric of St. Mary’s Adderbury in good order.
So far, the charity has contributed over £100,000 to the church.
The festival will be held over three days on Friday 3rd 3 – 8pm, Saturday 4th 10am – 4 pm, Sunday 5th 12noon – 4pm and will wrap up with a carol service on Sunday at 4.30pm.
