TROOPS were spotted jumping out of an aircraft in Oxfordshire.

The soldiers, who are believed to have flown from RAF Brize Norton, leapt out of the military plane before deploying their parachute and floating to the ground.

Matt Hancock, from Heyford, managed to snap photos of the troops and said it took place last week over the village of Weston-on-the-Green, near Bicester.

The aircraft was a Hercules C-130J.

RAF Brize Norton says the parachuting was routine military parachute training at Weston-On-The-Green.

The village is an aerodrome heavily utilised for military parachute training and a variety of aircraft will often be utilised to conduct this training.
