MORE than 23,000 Covid vaccine jabs have been administed to people in Bicester.

The figure includes both first and second doses that have been administered by the teams at Bicester Vaccination Centre at Bicester Heritage.

There have been more than 18,000 first doses given and nearly 5,000 second doses.

The Bicester Vaccination Centre is expected to continue operating throughout the summer and into the early autumn at least – providing first dose jabs soon for adults under 40 (once NHS approval for that is given) and continuing the programme of second dose jabs over several more months.
