A MAN has been released by police after a driver was killed on the M40.
The 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a 30-year-old from Kent died on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to the motorway at around 6.10am after reports of a serious crash between a beige Nissan Qashqai and White Tesla Model 3.
The road was closed for the day between junctions 8A and 9 Northbound.
Thames Valley Police Inspector Gavin Biggs appealed for any witnesses to come forward as the 39-year-old was being questioned by investigators in police custody.
Police can hold a suspect for 24 hours before they must decide to charge them or release them.
In an update yesterday TVP said the 39-year-old man had been released under investigation.
