OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

STUART ELLIOT, 50, of Oxford Road, Banbury, was convicted of driving without a licence and without third party insurance on November 18 on Middleton Road, Banbury. He was fined £880, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ANTHONY EVANS, 76, of Lennox Gardens, Banbury, admitted driving without a licence and third party insurance on Bretch Hill, Banbury, on September 29. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

JAKE GUNTERT, 37, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted speeding in a 30mph zone on Abingdon Road, Rowstock on November 21. He was fined £576, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £57 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

KIERON HANSON, 29, of Hudson Street, Bicester, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on September 6 in Kings End, Bicester. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

JEROEN VAN DAAL, 31, of Kingerlee Road, Banbury, admitted driving at 99mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 near Junction 10 on November 18. He was fined £717, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £77 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

PAUL WATSON, 41, of Spenlove Close, Abingdon, admitted driving at 50mph in a 40mph zone on the A4130 in Rowstock on November 21. He was fined £368, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

MARTIN HARWOOD, 44, of London Road, Moreton-in-Marsh, was convicted of failing to stop when required by a traffic warden and driving in a public place without consideration to others using Green Lane, Woodstock and driving without a licence and third party insurance on May 22. He was fined £1,320, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. He was also disqualified from driving for nine months.

CAMERON BOTHWELL, 22, of Glebe Road, Didcot, was convicted of three counts of assault by beating on March 28 and April 12 in Didcot. He was made subject to a community order and must participate in the Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days. He is also subject of a restraining order and must not contact the victim directly or indirectly. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £300.

SHUMON HASSAN, 25, of Humfrey Road, Headington, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis during an investigation into whether a driving offence had been committed. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.

LIAM ALDERSON, 36, of Ivy Lane, Oxford, was convicted of driving at 43mph in a 30mph zone on Headington Road, Oxford on August 30, 2019. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

MICHAEL HARDISTY, 38, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of the sex offenders register on January 16 by not notifying the police station within three days of leaving prison of his no fixed abode address. He was sent to prison for 24 weeks and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

RYAN HAYES, 22, of Field Avenue, Oxford, admitted damaging a door, costing £300, belonging to Oxford City Council on Oxford on June 25 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with a responsible officer for 25 days. He must also pay compensation of £200.

KARL SCALE, 31, of Bartlemas Road, Oxford, admitted two counts of using racially aggravated words to cause harassment, alarm and distress on March 19. He was ordered to pay compensation of £250.

ANDREI PARASCANU, 34, of West Street, Banbury, admitted common assault of a police constable and threatening to damage two cars on September 27, 2019 in Banbury. He also admitted not failing to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on January 14. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his alcohol dependency under the direction of the National Probation Service for 12 months. He must also carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay compensation of £100.

MOHAMED BOULAABI, 40, of Preedy Walk, Bloxham, admitted assault by beating of a police officer on April 26 in Banbury. He was made subject of a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay compensation of £50 and a victim surcharge of £96.

CHEYENNE WEBB, 26, of Fane Drive, Wallingford, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without third party insurance on Horspath Road on October 23. He was made subject to a community order and must have an electronic curfew for 12 weeks. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He has been disqualified from driving for 12 months.

BRENDON ARKLESS, 22, of Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Shippon on July 13. He had 120mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was fined £350, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 14 months.

JACK OSBURY, 23, of Dora Carr Close, Oxford, was convicted of using racially aggravated words to cause harassment on March 24, 2019 in Oxford. He also admitted going to Underhill Circus which he was prevented from doing by a restraining order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 9, 2016. He was made subject to a community order and must have a curfew for eight weeks and take part in appointments with a responsible officer for seven days. He must also pay compensation of £100.

BRAIN SELLWOOD, 56, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted being in possession of a kitchen knife in a public place on August 4 on Cowley Road. He was sent to prison for 16 weeks because the 'offence was so serious' and he caused alarm. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £128 and must forfeit the knife to be destroyed.

JAMES SNELL, 39, of Evans Lane, Kidlington, admitted stealing alcohol, meat and flowers, costing £925.40, from Waitrose on Botley Road on December 4 and Fitbits, costing £564, from John Lewis in the Westgate Centre on December 14. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his drug-dependency under the direction of an officer for 12 months. He must also pay £150 in compensation.
