HOT ashes thrown in the bin started a huge blaze in the night.
Firefighters from Slade Road (Oxford) and Wallingford stations were called to Chalgrove on Friday to reports of a fire in a house.

They used high-pressure hoses to put out the flames and discovered that the fire had actually started in the bin and spread to the fence.
Taking to Facebook, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service said: "After investigation it was discovered that the cause was hot ashes being disposed in the refuse bin.
"Please take care when disposing of hot ashes and let them get cold first."
