OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

ADAM ABSOLOM, 23, of Buttercup Square, Oxford, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a Class B drug, on March 26, 2020 at Abingdon Police Station. He was fined £80, made to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85.

GORDON ALEXANDER NIMMO, 50, of Dirac Place, Didcot, admitted drug-driving on June 16 on the A4130, Didcot. He had 200mcg of cocaine in his blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg. He was fined £153, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

STEVEN MATTHEW PUGH, 35, of Ypres Way, Abingdon, admitted two counts of fraud by false representation between November 3, 2019 and November 12, 2019 by using a bank card belonging to somebody else to stay at the Kingfisher and the Crown and Thistle Hotel, Abingdon. He was fined a total of £368 and must pay compensation of £450. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £37 and £85 in court costs.

SHERIJ YAZJE, 23, of Arnolds Way, Oxford, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker on June 3 in Bicester. He was fined £200, ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

DALILA DOS LOURENCO, 39, of Merewood Avenue, Oxford, was convicted of driving in a public place without third party insurance on Dene Road, Headington on July 19. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

PIOTR PAWEL RYSZKA, 38, of St Luke’s Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on Grenoble Road on June 13. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

PETER JAMES QUINN, 27, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted assault by beating at O’Hanlon House on December 23, 2020 as well as being in possession of Cocaine and Heroin, class A drugs, on the same day at Abingdon Police Station. He was sent to prison for eight weeks because the offences are ‘so serious and aggravated by being committed whilst on bail.’ He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and must forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.

SIMON RHYS SALAMAN, 29, of John Mason Road, Abingdon, admitted being in possession of MDMA, a class A drug, on June 7, 2020 in Abingdon. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22. He must also forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.

MARIAN STRZALKOWSKI, 46, of no fixed abode, admitted drink-driving on December 25 on Horsefair, Banbury. He had 70mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £230, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.

DYLAN SWEENEY, 22, of Deer Walk, Greater Leys, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a class B drug, on December 24 at Abingdon Police Station. He was given a conditional discharge of six months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22. He must also forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.

KAROL BOLSTA, 36, of Shoe Lane, Didcot, admitted drink-driving on April 23 on Park Road, Didcot. He had 65mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £180, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.

RYAN FROST, 22, of Wolage Drive, Wantage, admitted assault by beating of a woman and damaging a door on October 12 in Abingdon. He was made subject to a community order and must take part in the Building Better Relationships programme for 33 days and carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He has also been made the subject of a restraining order and must not contact the victim until December 2022. He will also pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

GEORGE AKPAI, 58, of Clover Place, Oxford, admitted driving without third party insurance on June 15 on Field Avenue, Oxford. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

STEPHEN DAVID ARUNDEL, 39, of Woodley Drive, Bampton, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on August 1 on Burford Road, Carterton. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

JORDYN BETNAY, 24, of Benouville Close, Oxford, was convicted of driving without third party insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence on October 18, 2020 in Bicester. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

MICHAEL CARR, 39, of Masons Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving without a licence on September 7, 2020 on Bletchingdon Road, Kidlington. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

KANIKA CHAGANTY, 48, of Kimmeridge Road, Cumnor, admitted speeding in a 40mph zone on the A41 in Bicester on September 6. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

THOMAS CHAPMAN, 26, of Naldertown, Watnage, admitted speeding in a 50mph zone on Chain Hill, Wantage on September 20. He was fined £369, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

ELLIS CAMERON FRANKLIN, 20, of Charter Way, Wallingford, admitted driving without a licence and third party insurance on June 14 in Didcot. He was fined £362, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

ILASZ RADOSLAW, 31, of Broome Way, Banbury, admitted driving without third party insurance on Middleton Road, Banbury on July 12. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

LESLEY SAUNDERS, 62, of The Cleave, Harwell, admitted driving over 30mph in a 30mph zone on the A4130 on September 17. She was fined £110, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with five penalty points.
