A COUNCIL has a new boss to oversee roadworks after the previous post holder stood down after complaints.

Oxfordshire County Council's new cabinet member for Highways Delivery and Operations is Eddie Reeves.

The Conservative councillor for Banbury Calthorpe stepped into the role at the start of this year.

He was appointed to the cabinet, a senior group of councillors, after the former holder of the role Liam Walker stood down following complaints about his conduct on Twitter at the end of 2020.
