A VOLUNTARY group has elected a new president.
The Witney Lions Club has appointed Keith Holmes to serve until July 2021.
Mr Holmes previously spent 25 years as an officer at West Oxfordshire District Council.

This is his second stint as president of the club, and he said: “As with so many others, Witney Lions Club is struggling to function normally in these extraordinary times.
“Despite the fact that we have not been able to fundraise for our own activities, we have dug into our reserves to support other organisations which have been important in the lockdown period.
“I now look forward to leading our club out of lockdown during my year as president.”
