CRIMINALS took off with a haul of expensive gold jewellery from a home in Oxford yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened some time between 12pm and 5pm when offenders gained entry to the property on Littlemore Road by breaking a rear patio door.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses who can help the investigation into the burglary.

Officers are urging drivers who were in the area at the time of the break-in to check their dash-cam footage.

Neighbours with CCTV installed are also being asked to share any footage that could help trace the offenders.
