OXFORDSHIRE has the highest average credit score in the UK, according to recently released statistics.
Using the latest data from two major credit agencies, Share to Buy has mapped the average credit scores by county.

Oxfordshire came out on top with a score of 1,258 out of 1,699.
The county was 154 points higher than Nottinghamshire, the area with the lowest credit score.
According to Google search data, interest around loans peaked between March and June this year, as the phrase ‘can I get a loan’ rose by 11 per cent compared to the same period last year, while the phrase ‘how to improve credit score’ was up by almost 27 per cent since 2019.
