THE Norman Nicholson Society has launched a competition for budding poets of any age who have been inspired by the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Nicholson, a famous Millom poet, lived in the town from 1914 to 1987.
The Norman Nicholson Lockdown Poetry Competition boasts categories for adults and under-18s - with prizes including a chance of winning a specially engraved trophy and the poet's official biography to be won.
The deadline is September 1.
