TWO men were surrounded by unmarked police cars and armed officers in Didcot yesterday afternoon.
At just after 3.30pm police swooped in on Manor Crescent blocking off both ends of the road.

The force has now revealed that a 27-year-old man, from Steventon, and a 20-year-old man, from Blewbury, were arrested at the scene after a major ‘domestic’ incident in Steventon hours earlier.
Both men were arrested on the ground on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
Police say there is ‘no wider threat to the local community’ and that both men are still being questioned by detectives.

One witness said he saw two armed officers from an unmarked police car ‘detain’ a man lying down in the road before two more police cars blocked off the road.
