A MAN is appealing to a higher authority after a council stopped him from knocking down his garage and a shed to build an extension.
Xhevahir Kaci wanted to build a two-storey extension to his home at Gordon Close, New Marston, but Oxford City Council denied planning permission.
Mr Kaci has appealed the decision and the city council will now have to make their cases about his plans to the government's planning inspectorate.
