DRIVERS will have to travel 10mph slower on a main road through Headington.
The speed limit on Windmill Road will be reduced from 30pm to 20mph.
The road runs towards the traffic lights junction at London Road, near Headington shops.
The decision to reduce the speed limit was made by Oxfordshire County Council's cabinet member for the environment, Yvonne Constance yesterday (21/05).
Putting new signs in place on the road will be paid for by a council project called Access to Headington.
Thames Valley Police does not enforce 20mph speed limits.
