A TRIO are due in court tomorrow (Monday) to stand trial in connection with the death of Taylor Williams last year.

Olamide Soyege, 28 from Dagenham, and Terrance Maccabee, 18 from Peckham, are charged with the murder of Mr Williams.

The pair are also charged with robbery, conspiracy to rob and being in possession of a knife. They have denied all charges.

Paige Taylor, 23, from Basingstoke, is charged with robbery of class A drugs and conspiracy to rob in connection with the incident. She intends to plead not guilty.

Mr Williams, also 18 from Bromley, Kent, was found stabbed at an address in Shooters Way on August 31, 2019.

He was taken to Basingstoke hospital where he died from his injuries.

As previously reported, it is expected that the trial will begin tomorrow (Monday) at Winchester Crown Court, and last three to four weeks.

The defendants most recently appeared in court in early November, where they entered their pleas. Taylor did not appear because of a "genuine miscommunication".

They have all been remanded into custody until the start of the trial.
