CAMERA Club have taken to the water this week to capture fluvial photos for this week’s theme, 'the river'.

Our dedicated members travelled across the country snapping the picturesque rivers of Oxford, the county and the rest of the UK.

From fishing to punting it seems the Camera Club members just love messing about on the river.

Louise Hook’s little people have made a show again this week and this time they are enjoying a kayak and a sail along the river.

With broccoli trees and orange banks this picture puts a creative spin on the theme of rivers.

Charlotte Hickman also enjoyed her food by the river, as she snapped her cappuccino with a view.

Andy Hayes, meanwhile, captured the water rushing through the weir in Abingdon.

Andrew Hadaway shared a picture of someone doing a spot of early morning fishing at Port Meadow.

It seems everyone in Oxford is either punting or rowing down the river and Xande Costa has sent in a picture of a canal boat moored on the side of the river.

Ian Marriot has taken a picture from his boat on the river capturing other passers by on their boats.

Allen Dannfald has sent in a picture of Scullers nearing the finishing line at Abingdon in April last year.

Erin Pratley sent in the daredevil picture below and said: “At the age of 47 he still has to have a go on the rope swing on the river.”

Louise Tucker also sent in a picture of her best best friend having fun in the river.

She sent in a snap of a happy doggy called Storm playing in a small stream in the New Forest. It looks like Storm is having fun.

Paul Brown sent in a picturesque image of Henrhyd Falls, the highest waterfall in South Wales.

Steve Fisher travelled to Ireland for his snap of a river. He sent in a picture of a lonely cow walking by the river at Clonmacnoise on the river Shannon.

The winner of this week’s camera club will be announced in tomorrow’s paper.

For next week's theme we are getting loved up ahead of Valentine's Day. Happy Snapping!
