AN Oxfordshire MP has been discussing online safety with school children in his area.
John Howell, MP for the Henley Constituency, visited to Badgemore Primary School in Henley to discuss online safety with the children.
Google hosted the event to highlight its ‘Be Internet Legends’ programme.
Mr Howell said: “It is so important that we teach young people to thrive in a digital age and I am pleased that Google and Parent Zone are leading the way on this important issue."
Google research showed 96 per cent of teachers believe children should learn about online safety at home and in school.
Google launched their ‘Be Internet Legends’ educational programme, aimed at 7-11 year-olds, to help parents and teachers teach online safety.
