AN AMERICAN tourist with family links to Oxford hopes to get in touch with a group of nurses he snapped at The Randolph hotel.

Patrick Imburgia, who lives in California, wants to get this image to the women pictured.

He offered to take their photo during his visit in November, after overhearing them discussing that this was their 50th year since graduating from college as nurses.

Mr Imburgia took the picture to document their celebration, but forgot to take a contact detail so he could share it with them.

The flavour chemist was staying at the upmarket hotel with his wife Lori, during a visit to celebrate her parents' 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple, Al and Eileen Flores, married at St Gregory and St Augustine Church in Oxford.

Two of their six daughters, including Mrs Imburgia, were born in the city before the family moved to the United States.

The pair met while Mrs Flores was working at the historic Russell Acott record shop in Oxford, and her future husband was in the USAF based at RAF Brize Norton.

Mr Imburgia took the photo on November 4 and has not yet managed to find a way to get in touch with the group, and hoped the Oxford Mail could help.
