A DRIVER was stopped by police in Bicester last night after being caught driving an uninsured car.

The driver was given a fixed penalty ticket, six points and a £300 fine before police seized the car on Kings End.

Thames Valley Police Roads Policing tweeted the alert.

A learner driver was busted by police after being caught behind the wheel with no insurance on Saturday in Cowley.

He admitted having no insurance but when police checked his documents, they discovered he only had a provisional driving licence.

Police seized the car and the driver was reported.
