BURGLARS smashed the window of a woman's home while she was inside.
The would-be thieves tried to gain entry to a home in The Slade in Oxford, after they rang the doorbell but did not get an answer.

The woman inside, who was in her 30s, turned the light on after they shattered the rear windows at the back of the house.
They fled upon realising someone was inside.
The attempted burglary took place on October 4, at about 9.15pm, and Thames Valley Police has today released CCTV images.

PC David Hughes, based at Oxford Police Station said: “This was on a busy road in Oxford with pedestrians and passing traffic.
“We believe the men captured in these CCTV images may have vital information about the incident."
Officers are asking if anyone was in the area at the time, who witnessed anything or recognises the men, to get in touch by calling 101 quoting reference 43190308055.
