A CRIMINAL who only completed a single hour of his 120-hour unpaid work order has been given another chance to comply.

Billy Fuller, of Eastern Avenue, Oxford, was previously handed a community order for handling stolen goods.

As part of that order the 21-year-old had to complete 120 hours of unpaid work and take part in rehabilitation days

At Oxford Crown Court yesterday Fuller admitted breaching that order, having completed just one hour of his unpaid work, and failing to attend sessions.

He failed to attend rehabilitation activity requirement on July 25 and September 22 and unpaid work on August 27.

Defending, Lucy Ffrench said that her client had started a university course in business management in London.

Asked to explain his flouting of the court orders Fuller said he had been through a '180 degree turn' in recent months, finding out he was a father and beginning his studies. He said he would 'forget about other things' as a result.

Presiding Judge Ian Pringle QC said he would give Fuller another chance to comply with the order but any failure would lead to him re-sentencing for the offence.

To mark the breach an additional 10 hours of unpaid work were added, totalling 129 hours left to work.

Fuller has until July to complete the hours in line with the community order requirements.
