COUNTY Councillors were advised of a simple step they can take to fight global warming as they discussed their plans for the climate crisis.

Speaking on behalf of Oxford Friends of the Earth at the full OCC meeting on Tuesday, Chris Church told councillors more trees should be planted to capture carbon emissions.
Mr Church said this would also give the thousands of families expected to move into new houses in the county in the future ‘quality green spaces’ where they could relax and enjoy free time.
