A WOMAN has been charged with causing a Christmas Eve bomb scare at a Banbury superstore.

Cheryl Nolan, of Stone Barton, Plymouth, is accused of one count of communicating false information in the form of a bomb hoax.

It is alleged that the 59-year-old communicated to a store colleague at the Home Bargains, Banbury, that a bomb was present at the discount homeware retailer.
