Tuesday

A drink driver who was stopped by police for 'erratic' driving has been jailed after it was revealed he was already banned from the roads and carrying drugs and a knife.

Marius Calin appeared for sentencing having already admitted driving with excess alcohol, driving while disqualified and with no insurance as well as possession of cannabis and a small knife.

He was jailed for 12 months.

Wednesday

When police raided a motel room suspecting child sexual activity, they discovered a teenager on a bed with a man 'in a state of undress.'

Officers had gone to the motel next to The Musketeer pub, Banbury, after it was suspected a 15-year-old girl had gone to a room there to meet a 26-year-old man with whom she had been chatting on Facebook.

Luke Freegard, of Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, admitted sexual activity with a child and was handed a community order.

Thursday

A ‘brazen’ drug dealer caught with cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis near Oxford’s Covered Market was jailed.

Shohaib Ahmed, of Harcourt Terrace, Oxford, was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court after pleading guilty to being involved in supplying the drugs to get himself out of debt from his own addiction to cocaine in December last year.

Murtazar Ahmed, of Swinburne Road, Oxford was also sentenced for possession of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis, over the same incident.

Friday

A drug dealer caught with a stash of heroin and crack cocaine in a car was given 'one last chance' to prove himself or face jail.

David Ejere, of Craufurd Road, Oxford, had admitted two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs as well as possession of cannabis ahead of his sentencing.

‘Dangerous’ offender Terry Thomas was jailed after stabbing his flatmate in a row over a dog and a DVD.

His tempestuous relationship with his eventual victim led to an explosion of violence on August 10 this year.
