A BLUE plaque to remember the lengthy campaign for women's rights at Oxford University could be pinned to an Army Careers office, if plans are approved by Oxford City Council.
The 10-inch plaque will be dedicated to Annie Rogers, who kick-started a campaign for women's rights in higher education.
In the plans, developers explain: "She first challenged the status quo at the age of 17 when she concealed her gender and came out top in a Balliol- Worcester entrance exam."

It will be on the wall of St Giles Terrace – the current home of the Armed Forces Careers office. According to the plans, the (owners), the MoD support the idea.
