OXFORD Heart Centre turns 10 this week and to celebrate the milestone we have looked through our archives to see the Headington building's journey from the laying of its foundation stone, through the first patients and beyond.

As well as staff celebrations on Thursday, there will be an open day on Saturday to celebrate the anniversary, with talks on how the centre has helped people since its creation a decade ago.
It will start at 10.30am at Tingewick Hall on the John Radcliffe site.
