DRIVERS faced long delays on the M40 this morning as one lane was closed following a crash.
Eight miles of traffic tailed back from the crash, which reportedly involved a van heading southbound just after J10 for Cherwell Valley Services.
It appears the van had left the carriageway and emergency services were on the scene throughout the morning.
At it's peak delays were up to about 30 minutes on the southbound carriageway. It has eased off now with minor delays being reported in the area.
The utter chaos at J10 on the M40 is solely down the the design of the roads
