A MAN distracted staff while another stole cigarettes from behind the tills of a Sainsbury's Local in Oxford.
The brazen burglary took place at the store in London Road, Headington, at about 3.50pm on Tuesday, September 3.
Two men entered the store before carrying out the act, which saw a large quantity of cigarettes stolen.
Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer PC Roger Browne, based at St Aldates police station, said: “I believe the man in these images may have vital information about the incident and could help with this investigation.
“I am also appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has information about the incident to come forward.
“If you think you know the man in these images, or you believe it could be you, please call police on 101, quoting reference 43190272163, or make a report online.
“Alternatively, you can make an anonymous report to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
