POLICE FLAGGED down a car that wouldn't stop through busy roads at lunchtime.

Thames Valley Police tried to stop a blue Volkswagen Golf at 1pm on September 4, but the driver carried on going through Banbury's main roads not stopping as they drove from Ruscotte Avenue, towards Hennef Way and towards Southam.

At the time a 29-year-old man from Banbury was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle, not stopping, not having insurance and driving dangerously, as well as being 'concerned in the supply of Class A drugs'.

He is on bail until September 25.
