OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

WESTON MUCHEKE, 21, of Bayswater Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend unpaid work induction appointments on July 4 and 11. He was fined £100 and ordered to continue.

GURDEEP VIRDEE, 44, of James Street, Oxford, admitted stealing razor blades to the value of £137 from Boots, Cornmarket Street, Oxford on July 13. He was made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days days as well as compensation of £137.

ALEXANDERU DUMITRU, 23, of Stanley Close, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance on March 23 at Cowley Road, Oxford. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

SHANE FAWDREY, 30, of Long Ground, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance on March 13 at the A34 Marcham. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

PAULO GONCALVEZ, 40, of Bicester Road, Kidlington, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance and driving without a licence on June 8 at the Northern Bypass Road, Oxford. He was fined a total of £880 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

Keith HERRING, 46, of Gidley Way, Horspath, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance on March 26 at Albion Place, Oxford. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

SALLY LONG, 46, of Burrows Crescent, Chipping Norton, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance on March 20 at the A40 Witney. She was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

BENJAMIN MCLOUGHLIN, 30, of Robinson Road, Wootton, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance and without a valid MOT test certificate on March 25 at the A4183 Oxford. He was fined a total of £880 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

SAMANTHA MURPHY, 29, of Lidsey Road, Banbury, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance on March 18 at Banbury Road, Adderbury. She was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

DANIEL NOSSEK, 43, of Westholm Court, Bicester, was convicted of speeding by driving in excess of 70 mph in a 70 mph area on the A34 Islip on June 19. He was fined £418 and must pay a victim surcharge of £41 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.

ALMOS VEREBELYI, 48, of Tyrrells Close, Harwell, was convicted of using a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance on March 21 in Didcot North. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ANDREW ADAM, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing £250 Bose headphones from John Lewis in Oxford on August 20. Sentenced to prison for four weeks as offence committed while on bail. Ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.

MACIEJ SODEL, 19, of Masons Road in Oxford, convicted of being in possession of a large pair of scissors in public in London Road, Oxford, on August 10. Given a community order including 150 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £200 court costs.

JAMES PERRY, 38, of Hastings Road in Banbury admitted using a vehicle which was unlicensed in Cherwell on January 27. Fined £150 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £40.84. Must also pay £85 victim surcharge.

THOMAS CHATER, 41, of Stow Avenue in Witney admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public in Stow Avenue in Witney. Fined £100, and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £50 court costs.

DANIEL WILLIAMS, 28, Randolph Avenue in Woodstock admitted damaging a police car door trim worth £171.46 in Marcham Road, Abingdon, on August 7. Admitted two charges of assaulting a police officer on the same day in the same location, and failed to provide a specimen for analysis. Ordered to pay £371.86 compensation, and fined £1,413.

Must pay £78 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

MICHAEL ROBERTS, 39, of Sheldon Way in Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause fear on June 12 in Oxford. Admitted causing criminal damage worth £80 of a police vehicle on the same occasion. Also admitted assault by beating on June 12 in Oxford, assaulting a PCSO on July 17 in Magdalen Street, Oxford, common assault on the same day in Tesco, Magdalen Street in Oxford, common assault of a police officer in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on the same occasion, assault by beating of a police officer at Abingdon Police Station on the same day and failed to comply with requirements of a community order on April 30, 2019. Sentenced to six months in prison as unpleasant assaults on emergency workers. Ordered to pay £450 compensation and fined £50.

CAMERON ARNOTT, 21, of Haydon Road in Didcot, admitted speeding on January 26 in Rose Hill, Oxford. Found to be doing 41mph in a 30mph stretch of road. Fined £130 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Four points added to driving licence.

JAMES BISSON, 30, of Choswell Spring in Oxford, admitted failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, suspected of committing an offence, when required between April 8 and May 6. Fined £660 and ordered to pay £66, plus £85 court costs. Six points added to driving licence.

PAUL BUTTERFIELD, 53, of Kempson Crescent in Oxford, admitted failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle suspected of committing an offence, when required between April 17 and May 15. Fined £660 and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Three points added to driving licence.
