WHETHER anyone should be able to live in flats at an Oxford development will be decided by councillors next week.
Currently, just people aged over 55 are allowed to live in six, two-bedroom flats at 4 Green Lane in Botley.
The flats were built in the late 1980s but now its owners want to make them available to all people, regardless of age.
Cumnor Parish Council said it wants the condition to remain in place.
Otherwise, it worries older people will have less chance to stay within their community if they want to downsize.
Two residents have said they are happy for the flats to be occupied by all, but four are opposed. District councillors will decide on Wednesday.
