CONTROVERSIAL plans to extend a historic pub's garden feature are set to be approved.
In July the Friends of Old Headington raised concerns about plans to expand a pergola at The White Hart pub in St Andrew’s Road, Old Headington.
The group said it was worried about noise and the threat of increased car parking.

On Wednesday Oxford City Council will convene at the Town Hall to decide the application for the expansion, which officers have recommended to be approved.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at 6pm.
