TICKETS are selling fast for a talk by fantasy author Philip Pullman about his new novel The Secret Commonwealth.

The novel is the second instalment of The Book of Dust trilogy and follows La Belle Sauvage, published in 2017.

The latest novels feature characters from Mr Pullman’s earlier trilogy, the award-winning His Dark Materials.

The talk, organised by Blackwell’s, will take place at the Sheldonian Theatre on Sunday, October 6 at 5.30pm.

Signed copies of the new novel will be available to buy.
