A WOMAN who was spared jail after two assaults and three thefts, has now been put behind bars for another 'vicious attack'.

Marina Harries, from Henry Taunt Close in Barton, Oxford, has been jailed after attacking three people in Oxford on April 9.

The 51-year-old appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 25 where she was slammed her 'flagrant disregard for people'.

She was convicted of three counts of assault by beating, and one count of using threatening or abusive behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke violence.

Harries was handed a 20-week prison sentence, plus a suspended sentence of 12 weeks for previous offences was activated. She was jailed for a total of 32 weeks.

Official court documents said: "The defendant has a flagrant disregard for people and their property, because it was a vicious attack with a significant impact on the victims."
