THE public-facing desk at a police station will be temporarily shut.

Bicester Police Station will close its front counter tomorrow, and said on its Facebook page that this is due to 'unforeseen circumstances.'

Officers in the neighbourhood will be working as usual and the front desk will reopen on Friday.

The station is located in Queens Avenue and its normal front desk opening hours are 10am-6pm on weekdays.

This time last year, the station had to close its front counter for three days due to 'resourcing issues'.
