OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

JACK MURPHY, 29, of Luther Street in Oxford, admitted stealing £64.04 worth of meat from The Co-op in Witney on February 26. Given a conditional discharge for six months, and ordered to pay £64.04 compensation.

SHAUN THORNHILL, 47, of Portway in Didcot, convicted of assault by beating on both June 9, and May 27, and admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ court while on bail on March 14. Given a community order including rehabilitation requirements, and ordered to pay court costs of £85.

JACK TRINDER, 23, of Curbridge Road in Ducklington, Witney, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance in Witney on March 21 from Eynsham to Charlbury. Given a community order to undertake rehabilitation activity, disqualified from driving for five months, and ordered to pay £385 court costs.

JASON TURLEY, 39, of no fixed abode admitted stealing £50 worth of clothes from Primark in Oxford on June 27. Fined £200, and ordered to pay £115 court costs.

ABIGAIL HARPER, 35, of Longford Way in Didcot, admitted speeding on the A34 at Chieveley being caught doing 93mph on the 70mph road.

Fined £76, and ordered to pay £115 court costs. Four point on driving licence.

ELMA OLIVASTRO, 43, of Reliance Way in Oxford, admitted speeding on the A40 North Way in Oxford on October 9, 2018. Caught doing 39mph on the 30mph road. Fined £123 and ordered to pay £170 court costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.

REBECCA NUTTALL, m28, of no fixed abode admitted stealing £20.50 worth of lamp chops and steak from the Co-operative supermarket in Rotary Banbury on June 29. Sentenced to prison for 16 weeks due to previous poor record of this offence. Ordered to pay £20.50 compensation

BELINDA CORBETT, 47, of Plantation Avenue, in Marcham, admitted assault by beating on June 29 in Thames View in Abingdon. Handed a conditional discharge for 18 months, and ordered to pay £106 court costs.

ADESEGUN SOLEB, 50, of Alice Smith Square, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on the A34 near Botley on June 29. Found to have 99mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £499, and ordered to pay £134 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 25 months.

TERRY STOCKFORD, 36, of Fern Hill Road, in Cowley, admitted drink-driving on the Banbury Road in Oxford on June 30. Found to have 67mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £600 and ordered to pay £145. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

DAVID WRIGHT, 28, of Heather Road in Milton, near Abingdon, admitted criminal damage to a BT telephone worth £20 in Abingdon on July 12. Ordered to pay £20 compensation and £85 court costs.

JACK BROWN, 22, of Coriander Way in Oxford, admitted smashing windows at a Green Square Housing Association home in Oxford on January 4. Given a restraining order and ordered to pay £200 compensation, plus £85 court costs.

WAYNE SPEIRS, 49, of no fixed abode, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm, or distress on July 12 in Abingdon. Also admitted being in possession of Cannabis on the same day. Given a 12 month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £21 court costs.

RONNIE CARTER, of Iffley Road, Oxford, convicted of failing to give information to Oxfordshire County Council to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of a parking offence on October 9, 2018. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £90 court costs.

DAMION FARAH, of Temple Road in Oxford, convicted of failing to give information to Oxfordshire County Council to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of a parking offence in Abingdon on November 26. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £90 court costs.

BARRY HARDING, of Rochford Gardens in Bicester, convicted of failing to give information to Oxfordshire County Council to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of a parking offence on November 2 in Abingdon. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £90 court costs.

AMAR HASSAN, 44, of Leander Way in Oxford, admitted selling 840 cigarettes that failed to comply with UK packaging laws at the Matean Market in Hollow Way, Cowley, on a series of dates between December, 17 2017, and August 20, 2018. Fined £600 and ordered to pay £130 court costs.

NICOLE HUNNISETT, of Boxhill Walk in Abingdon, convicted of failing to give information to Oxfordshire County Council to identify a driver of a pink Range Rover alleged to have been guilty of a parking offence on two occasions in Abingdon on December 5, 2018, and November 28, 2018. Fined £140 and ordered to pay £150 court costs.

ARTHUR MCCONNELL, of East St Helen Street, in Abingdon, convicted of failing to give information to Oxfordshire County Council to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of a parking offence in Abingdon on January 7, 2019. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £90 court costs.

CAROL PEEL, of Faringdon Road in Shippon, near Abingdon, convicted of failing to give information to Oxfordshire County Council to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of a parking offence in Abingdon on November 21, 2018. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £90 court costs.

MATTHEW KINNAIRD, 34, of Hazel Crescent in Kidlington admitted stealing a black Stanley bag with charger, earphones, and travel mug inside all worth about £100. Fined £100, ordered to pay £100 compensation and £115 court costs.

BOBBY STEWART, 23, of Fulwell Close in Banbury admitted affray, threatening violence to another person in Banbury on May 27, 2018. Given a community order which includes a curfew from 8pm to 6am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with electronic monitoring for three months from July 19. Ordered to undertake 150 hours of unpaid work, must pay £400 compensation, and £170 court costs.

VICTORIA FLANAGAN, 59, of Brook Street in Benson, near Wallingford, admitted drink-driving on Brook Street, in Benson, on July 1. Found to have 105mcgof alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £730, and ordered to pay £158 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

JONATHAN BENTLEY, 35, of no fixed abode admitted stealing £118 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury's in Bicester on June 23, whilst under a suspended sentence order. Sentenced to prison for two weeks for the theft, and an activation of a 12 week suspended sentence to be served consecutively. Ordered to pay £118 compensation, plus £45 court costs.
