POLICE have now tracked down a man who went missing five days ago.
Carl Boers was last seen in Stert Street in Abingdon on Tuesday afternoon, and police issued a missing person appeal last night.
The force confirmed that the 23-year-old was located 'safe and well' this morning, and has thanked members of the public for their help.
Police previously said Mr Boers walks with a limp and said he might be carrying a sleeping bag and two mats.
The force did not specify where he was found, but had said he was known to frequent Abingdon, Headington and Cowley.
Inspector Angela Murray had appealed to anyone with any information about his whereabouts, and also made a direct plea to Mr Boers to contact police or his family if he saw the appeal.
