A MAN has been arrested after police swooped on an alleged drug deal just minutes after a tip-off.
Thames Valley Police said officers pounced after being given information reporting a 'drug deal' happening close to Oxford Train Station yesterday.
The force said teams of officers were on the scene within minutes and arrested a male on suspicion of involvement in drugs offences.
A large amount of cash and Class A drugs were recovered from the scene.
Police posted online today a plea to the public to continue 'to pick up the phone if you see drug dealing in the community'.
