OXFORD Tube and Stagecoach drivers have achieved high scores in a scheme which measures driving standards.
There are 101 drivers from Stagecoach across Witney, Banbury, Oxford and Tube services who have reached the Master Fleet Elite status which is awarded for consistently maintaining the highest driving standard for four or more consecutive years.
ALSO READ: WOCT pulls out of running number 11 service from Witney to OxfordThe status comes from a nationwide global eco-driver performance scheme by GreenRoad, a company who provides telematics systems for professional drivers around the world including all Stagecoach buses.
It gives drivers instant feedback on their driving manoeuvres through a traffic-light LED system on the dashboard.
All drivers who receive the Master Fleet Elite status receive a special badge in recognition of their achievement.
