SEVEN cars were broken into in one night this week in Didcot and East Hendred.

Overnight, on April 30 to May 1, three vehicles had laptops stolen while others were searched and had glasses, cash and clothing stolen.

The areas that the thefts took place in were St Marys Road, High Street, Newbury Road and Old Road in Hendred and Talbot Close and Townsend in Didcot.

Some vehicles were not secure and police urge people to ensure they lock their car doors and to not leave items inside. They also advise using garages and alarms if possible.
