A ROYAL Air Force officer charged with the attempted murder of his squadron leader has been given a date for trial.
Flight Lieutenant Timothy Barry, of Mill View, Cuxham, Oxfordshire, appeared at Oxford Crown Court today facing one count of attempted murder and another of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 30-year old was set to stand trial at Oxford Crown Court this week but the case has been adjourned until later this year.
The charges relates to an incident which is alleged to have taken place on January 14 last year at an address at the small Oxfordshire village in which he was living.
Barry's trial will take place on November 11.
