A RISE in hate crime has prompted warnings from police in Bicester.
The Bicester neighbourhood police team tweeted that it had seen an increase in hate crime reports against people with disabilities that are not immediately obvious.
The tweet said: "We've noticed an increase in reports from residents with disabilities that aren’t immediately obvious experiencing hostile comments from the public when using disabled facilities.
"Disabled people can also be victims of hate crime as well as this type of incident."

It added "Please don’t be hasty in judging others’ situation", and urged any victim or witnesses of hate crime to report it to police by calling 101
