MORE than 105,700 (19.1 per cent) of adults aged 19 and over in Oxfordshire are deemed to live inactive lifestyles, according to a new report.
The county’s Health Improvement Board aims to reduce the number of adults who do less than 30 minutes of exercise per week to 18.1 per cent by March 2020.
Reducing inactivity remains a priority for authorities who are looking to reduce rates of obesity which can in turn lead to a range of health complications such as diabetes and heart disease.

Work being done to reduce physical inactivity will be discussed by local councillors at a meeting of the Health Improvement Board next Thursday.
The meeting will take place from 2pm at Oxford Town Hall.
