THE general secretary of the British Trades Union Congress Frances O’Grady will give a talk on 'Brexit Britain' at Oxford Brookes University today.

She will put the case for a 'radical agenda for change' – from the government’s economic priorities to the way companies are run.

The talk will also address key, unresolved questions that affect working people over the uncertainty surrounding Britain's exit from the EU and how to deliver better jobs, wages and services amid the disruption of Brexit and technological revolution.

Mr O'Grady is the first woman to hold the position of general secretary of the TUC since the organisation was founded in 1868.

The talk will be held at the main lecture theatre of the John Henry Brookes Building, Headington Campus, between 6pm and 7pm.
