A NEW 'canine hydrotherapy' centre is set to open in South Oxfordshire.
The owners of Woozelbears, which runs similar centres in Witney and Swindon, have applied for planning permission to open a new base in Didcot.
Hydrotherapy sees dogs put into water to help them get healthy.

Woozelbears' equipment includes underwater treadmills, large bespoke pools, a hydrotherapy spa and a 'gait analysis treadmill'.

On its website the company explains: "Hydrotherapy is a treatment that uses the properties of water to rehabilitate and improve an animal’s function.
"Dogs that are suffering from a medical condition or have had surgery benefit greatly from hydrotherapy, as it allows the animal to exercise in a non weight bearing environment.
"This relieves pressure on joints, reducing pain and encouraging movement."

The firm has applied to open its new centre at Didcot's Trident Business Park.
