SAVING 6,000 extra lives is the aim of a new plan by Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The team hopes to use educational campaigns, safety advice and its emergency responses to achieve the testing target by 2022.
Crews have drawn up a plan for how to achieve this goal - including 'risk profiling communities' - and have asked for people in Oxfordshire to tell them what they think of it.

The consultation, which opened last year, closes on Friday at midnight.
The service is also asking for feedback on plans to expand its service from firefighting to more general health and safety advice.
Among the other goals of the 2016 - 2022 plan are educating 85,000 children to 'lead safer and healthier lives' and helping 37,500 vulnerable children and adults to live 'more secure and independent lives'.
