POLICE are appealing for help solving a spate of burglaries that occurred across the county over the last few days.

1. Jewellery stolen after ground floor window smashed

Jewellery and money were stolen after at least one burglar smashed a ground floor window to enter a house.

The property on Station Road, Shrivenham, was broken into between 11.30am and 6.50pm on Sunday, January 13.

If you saw any suspicious-looking people or vehicles in the area, please contact police and quote the reference number 43190012907.

In a separate incident, jewellery was also stolen from a house in Charney Bassett, near Wantage.

The Chapel Lane property was broken into between 6.45pm and 7.15pm on Friday, January 11, after at least one person gained entry via a ground floor bathroom window.

Police are again appealing for anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously to give them a call and quote the reference number 43190011326.

2. Window damaged in attempted burglary

A ground floor window was damaged in an attempted burglary overnight in Blackbird Leys, Oxford.

At least one person tried to force the window open to enter the house in Birchfield Close, just off Pegasus Road, between 10pm on Monday and 8am yesterday.

3. Burglars target lock in late night raid

The lock on the front door of a Cowley home was damaged when at least one person attemped to enter the property.

Damage was caused to the lock during the attempted burglary on Divinity Road, which took place between 10pm on Monday and 11am yesterday.

4. Estate hit by multiple burglaries

Three burglaries have occurred on the Cherwell Heights Estate, Banbury in daylight hours.

Police are asking members of the public to contact them if they have any information. 

In a separate incident, police are also appealing for information regarding a burglary at a house on Bloxham Road, Banbury, between 5pm and 6.30pm yesterday.
